This ride, a mix of single and doubletrack starts right out of the gate with a burly climb, probably a bit of pushing and hike-a-bike but then after a couple miles of sacrifice you’re paid off with over two miles of downhill. The trail bottoms out near the highway, rolls on asphalt for a bit while making another, smaller climb for a couple of miles before finishing with some rolling downhill. This ride perhaps best enjoyed with a shuttle vehicle parked at the Livermore Road Trailhead.
